Help Me Feed Hope in Maine

The sudden shutdown of SNAP benefits (food stamps) is affecting 42 million people across the United States.

Here in rural Maine, our most vulnerable neighbors are hit hardest: seniors, families with young children, and people with disabilities are now left without a critical lifeline to put food on the table.
 

As someone who relied on this program when I needed it most, I'm terrified of what happens next.
 
Our local food banks are now the last line of defense, but they're already stretched thin by previous funding cuts and canceled aid programs.

 Harrison's food bank is now staring down a collapse. They help supply other pantries and are already receiving desperate calls for help from people living over two hours away.

This isn't a looming crisis. It's already here.
